The SAP® C_IBP certification confirms that you hold the foundational skills to plan supply chains in SAP Integrated Business Planning and can apply them on projects under an experienced consultant's guidance. Its scope reaches across the IBP planning suite — demand planning and demand sensing, inventory planning and optimization, sales and operations planning, response and supply planning in both time-series and order-based modes, the Supply Chain Control Tower for alerts and visibility, the Microsoft Excel add-in and web UI, and the underlying model configuration of planning areas, time profiles, key figures, and master data. Because it is delivered as a System-Based Assessment, the exam rewards applied work in a live system rather than isolated recall, and it is positioned as an entry-level qualification for the consultant profile at project-participation depth.
