The SAP® E_BW4HE certification confirms that you can implement and model an SAP BW/4HANA data warehouse — not just describe the differences from classic SAP BW. Positioned as a delta specialist credential for the SAP BW consultant profile, it assumes both foundational SAP BW/4HANA training and real project experience. The scope spans the modeling artifacts of SAP BW/4HANA (InfoObjects, the advanced DataStore Object, Open ODS views, CompositeProviders, BW queries), data extraction through the Operational Data Provisioning framework, hybrid modeling that combines SAP HANA calculation views with BW models, the enhanced layered architecture, data lifecycle management and data tiering, and the tools and approaches for migrating from SAP BW to SAP BW/4HANA. Because it is delivered as a System-Based Assessment, the exam rewards applied execution: you work through modeling and configuration tasks in a live system rather than answering isolated recall questions.
