The SAP® C_THR86 certification checks whether you can actually configure and operate SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, not merely describe it. It confirms foundational, project-ready command of the module — preparing an implementation and granting administrator permissions, linking the data type definition to the compensation plan, importing and grouping employee data, building compensation plans, worksheets, route maps, and salary and stock sheets, developing eligibility rules, budgets, and guidelines, publishing results back to Employee Central, and generating reports and compensation statements. Because it is delivered as a Scenario-Based Assessment, the exam rewards applied execution: you complete a guided activity in a working system rather than answer isolated recall questions. It is positioned as an entry-level qualification for consultants learning the fundamentals under the guidance of an experienced colleague, and provisioning rights are reserved for registered SAP partner consultants only.
