The SAP® C_BW4H certification checks whether you can build and operate an SAP BW/4HANA data warehouse in practice, not merely describe it. It spans the full Data Engineer scope — the architecture of BW/4HANA running on SAP HANA, InfoObject and DataStore Object modeling, CompositeProviders and Open ODS Views, data acquisition through ODP and ABAP CDS views, query design with key figures and variables, data-lifecycle administration with process chains, and analysis authorizations. Because it is delivered as a System-Based Assessment, the exam rewards applied execution: you carry out modeling, loading, and reporting tasks in a working system rather than answering isolated recall questions. It is written for the Data Engineer profile at an entry-level, project-participation depth, positioned as a recommended starting qualification.
