The SAP® C_BDCDA certification checks whether you hold the core knowledge of an SAP Data Architect and can apply it as a contributing member of a data project team. It spans data-architecture foundations and modeling, modern paradigms and integration patterns, governance, security, and data strategy, communicating data value to stakeholders, and the advanced design work of unifying SAP and external data on SAP Business Data Cloud using data-mesh and data-fabric patterns alongside framework thinking drawn from DAMA-DMBOK and TOGAF. Because it is delivered as a Scenario-Based Assessment, the exam rewards applied judgment: you reason through a realistic situation and make sound architecture decisions rather than answering isolated recall questions. The content is pitched at the Architect profile at a foundational, project-participation depth.
