The SAP® E_S4CON certification confirms that a technical consultant can carry an existing SAP landscape onto SAP S/4HANA and manage a full release upgrade from an administrator's standpoint. Rather than testing terminology alone, it examines whether you can plan and run the transition end to end — assessing the source system, driving the maintenance and update tooling, migrating data, adapting custom developments that no longer fit the changed data model, monitoring the system through each phase, and validating the result afterward. Because it is delivered as a Scenario-Based Assessment built around a single realistic activity, the credential rewards applied technical execution over recall, and it also addresses cloud-oriented deployment considerations alongside the classic on-stack conversion path.
