The SAP® C_S4CCO certification checks whether you can actually configure and operate Management Accounting in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, not merely describe it. It spans the implementation groundwork — system setup, central business configuration, data migration, and fit-to-standard adoption — together with the controlling core: default account assignment and posting control, distribution and overhead allocation cycles, project and order settlement, production accounting by order and by period, make-to-order sales-order-related production, and margin analysis for make-to-order scenarios. Because it is delivered as a System-Based Assessment, the exam rewards applied execution: you carry out configuration and transaction tasks inside a working system rather than answer isolated recall questions.
