The SAP® C_LCNC certification confirms that you can build applications and automate business processes on SAP Build using a low-code / no-code approach, rather than only describing the tools. It checks whether you can connect to SAP back-end systems, model the business data an app consumes, and design and run process automations with SAP Build Process Automation — including forms, decision logic, and Actions that call the APIs of remote systems. The scope reaches across the SAP Business Technology Platform foundation the tools sit on, configuring user access and sites through SAP Build Work Zone, and the newer AI-agent capabilities delivered through Joule Studio. Because it is a System-Based Assessment built around a single hands-on activity, the exam rewards applied execution in a working environment over memorized definitions. Aimed at the developer profile at an associate, project-participation depth, it targets people delivering apps and automations on SAP Build.

1. 1Build the SAP Business Technology Platform foundation first — know how BTP architecture, services, connectivity, and security fit together, since every SAP Build app and automation you create sits on top of it.
2. 2Practise process automation end to end in SAP Build Process Automation: create a process project, digitalize user interactions with forms, add conditions and decision logic, then release, deploy, run, and monitor it so the full lifecycle feels routine.
3. 3Drill API integration through Actions — encapsulating the APIs of remote systems and calling them inside a process is a frequently examined, high-value skill where an upstream setup choice shapes what later steps can do.
4. 4Rehearse configuring SAP Build Work Zone hands-on — the site menu, workpages, workspaces, and application integration — so you can give business users organized access to the apps and processes you deliver.
5. 5Spend time in Joule Studio building Joule Skills and custom agents for multi-step workflows, since the AI-agent capabilities are part of the current scope and reward hands-on familiarity over reading about them.
