The SAP® C_ARSOR certification checks whether you can put SAP Ariba Sourcing to work on a real project, not just describe its features. It centers on the guided sourcing lifecycle — creating full sourcing projects and their teams, documents, and tasks; building event types such as requests for information, requests for proposals, and auctions; configuring event rules, participants, pricing strategies, and bidding formats; then monitoring live events, grading and scoring supplier responses, and awarding through optimization, bid analysis, and manual scenarios. The scope extends to sourcing reports and analytics, direct-materials sourcing, and the realm and template administration that keeps a strategic sourcing environment consistent. Because it is delivered as a Scenario-Based Assessment, the exam rewards applied judgment — reading a sourcing situation and carrying out the right configuration steps — rather than isolated recall. It is written for the consultant profile at an entry-level, project-participation depth.
