The SAP® C_FIORD certification checks whether you can actually develop SAP Fiori applications as a frontend developer, not merely describe the framework. It spans the full SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori elements toolchain — Fiori fundamentals and architecture, loading and structuring apps through modules and components, building views, controllers, controls, and fragments, wiring data through models, data binding, and OData services, adding localization, implementing routing and navigation, and adapting or extending annotation-driven List Report and Object Page floorplans built on CAP and ABAP RAP. Because it is delivered as a Scenario-Based Assessment, the exam rewards applied judgment: you work through a realistic development scenario rather than answer a long bank of isolated recall questions. It is an entry-level certification for the frontend developer profile, building on formal SAP training and ideally some mentored project experience, at project-participation depth.

Understanding SAP Fiori from both the end-user and technical sides — the launchpad and its personalization, the user-interface and data-service technologies, the underlying ABAP platform and SAP S/4HANA architecture, and how Fiori content, catalogs, spaces, and pages are managed, migrated, and activated.
Bootstrapping and initializing the SAPUI5 runtime, defining and consuming modules, and structuring an application through components and the declarative API so the app loads cleanly and stays organized as it grows.
Building the user interface with XML views and their controllers, arranging screens with layout controls and control densities, and reusing UI parts through XML fragments that are instantiated where they are needed.
